Nabil Aniss
Nabil Aniss (b. Meknès, Morocco - 1990) is a Moroccan artist working with moving images, and living in Brussels.
Through films and monologues performed by actors, Nabil Aniss explores the role of institutions in determining people's desires and actions in our neo-liberal era, and brings to light the violence of political, economic and social structures in moments of intimate conflict.
Using mutilated, tired and suffering bodies as material, in the sacrificial world of the Gnawa* of Morocco.
